picture post
Now that the weather is warm we've been spending a lot of time outdoors. From riding bikes and cars in the driveway to conquering the massive play structure in the backyard, the kids have an endless supply of fun right outside the door. That being said, my desire to blog has definitely taken a backseat. I have manage to capture a lot on camera so here's a recap of the last few weeks at casa Wyatt...
Taking a bubble bath in mommy's big tub.
Doing some co-coloring. Looks like we might have two righties on our hands...sorry Jon!
Sprinkler time.
My two garden fairies.
I think I have mentioned before how much Landon dislikes swinging.
Well, we might have found the exception...
Like every good mother, I cut the crusts off the kids sandwiches. Like a wasteful mother, I just toss them into the trash. Look what Landon thinks of that wastefulness...
Yum! Trash crust!

picture post
We experienced a rare rain-free Saturday so we took the kids to a Traveler's Baseball game.
Landon vs chalk
I didn't purchase Presley's class picture because I didn't think it would turn out very cute. Boy was I wrong. Look at all those pretty smiles. I snapped a quick picture of the copy hanging outside of her classroom, but definitely should have paid for an original.
Playing with the Fisher Price record player I picked up at a garage sale for 50 cents.
All 5 records (or CDs as Presley keeps calling them) were there and the sound is great.
I have been doing a lot of Pinterest projects lately and found one for capes made out of old t-shirts. I made one for Pres and she loves wearing it. Here she is sporting it over her church dress.

color running again
I was due for a trip to Lubbock. It had been over a year since I had seen my bestest friend, Aurora face-to-face. I saw that The Color Run was making a stop in Lubbock so I started planning my trip around this crazy run. I got to go kid-free thanks to my parents and Jon. It was such a treat getting to spend some quality time with an amazing friend, and I would be kidding myself if I didn't mention how much I enjoyed a few days off from the demands of motherhood. We had a great visit and rocked The Color Run. The weather in west Texas didn't disappoint as I was greeted with a dust storm and 45 mph winds. Gotta love Lubbock!
Gettin' my guns up in the group color throw!
14,000 folks showed up for the Lubbock Color Run!
They had to set runner off in waves and it took us 30 minutes just to get to the starting line!

an "egg"cellent easter
We celebrated our first Easter in Little Rock. I LOVE Easter. I always prepare for Easter by giving up something for Lent. This year it was cokes. I don't actually drink a lot of cokes so it really wasn't all that difficult to go the 40 days without one. There were a few times I had hit up the chocolate milk or apple juice while eating out. It was a rainy weekend and most of the outdoor events were cancelled. Luckily our church has a large gym so the children's director was able to move our Saturday Easter Celebration inside. There was a bounce house, lots of little barnyard animals and a 2000-egg egg hunt. The kids had a great time and we'll be stocked with candy for at least the next month!
I am ashamed to admit that I didn't get a single picture of the kids in the Easter attire but rest assured Presley looked like a princess and Landon sported a pretty dapper 3-piece suite.
Here are a few shots (of Presley!) from the Easter Egg Hunt at church.
