Last week we experienced two firsts for our family. Presley went to the dentist and both Presley and Landon got their first haircuts. What an adventure. Presley did AMAZING at the dentist. I was totally surprised by her calmness and willingness to do anything and everything they asked of her. I hope this is the first of many easy trips to the dentist.
Presley didn't have much hair until she was over a year old so we haven't really had a need for a haircut yet. At only 11 months, Landon was starting to look a little shaggy so we decided it was time to pay a visit to the salon. My mom was in Albuquerque so we found a cute little place for kids and crossed our fingers that Landon could sit still long enough to get a quick cut. Not wanting Presley to feel left out, we got her a trim too. Both kids did GREAT! Presley wasn't too sure about laying back to get her hair washed but didn't seem to mind staring at herself in a big mirror. Landon surprised us all by sitting almost perfectly still while inches of hair hit the floor. He even honed in on another mom in the salon who made faces at him while the stylist use the clippers to get around his ears.
