an apple a day

There is an apple orchard about 30 minutes from Lubbock, so a friend and I drove out there only to be told that due to a freeze back in February, there were no apples on the trees. What?!? This would have been great information to put on ones website so folks didn't make the trip expecting to pick apples. It was beautiful day, so we strolled around the apple-less orchard for a while and then bought some apples they import from another orchard.
