mall rats

November means it's time for the annual girls shopping weekend. Pres and I squeezed all of our belongings into one suitcase and took to the air to meet Mimi in Dallas. We had a great time! We didn't exactly get to shop 'til we drop but we certainly hit our favorite shops and managed to bring home an additional suitcase full of stuff. I love to compare, so enjoy some '09 vs '10 photos.

Saved by the DVD player and a dum-dum!

october wrap up

What a busy month! We went non-stop and had so much fun. This is my favorite time of year and I loved watching Presley get into pumpkins, hayrides, cooking, arts and crafts and Halloween.

Pumpkin decorating.

Presley decorating.

Play me a song Mr. Piano Man.

Posing.

I think in the end, we made 5 trips out to the MaiZe.

On our trip to the MaiZe with StrollerFit, one of the kids got his head stuck in the animal board. They had to saw off a piece of the pig hole to get him out.

I have no idea how she ended up like this!

Along came a spider.

Making cupcakes for PDO.

Pumpkin carving.

Not too interested in the pumpkin insides.

From not wanting to wear any bows, to....
Wanting to wear them all!

elvis has left the building

It seems like we celebrated Halloween all week last week. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Halloween so I was all too excited to enjoy it longer than one day. We started wearing our costume on Wednesday for a trip to the library and wrapped up the celebration late on Saturday night after a party at our house. The sad part is that by the time Sunday rolled around, we were a little burned out and didn't even get dresses up. I am sure most folks are glad that I can stop talking about this silly Elvis costume. I really put in a lot of time on it and was so happy to see Presley enjoy it. Everyone thought she was a boy but that's okay. I'll take a few weeks off and then it's back to brainstorming for next year!

Party at the library.

Trunk or Treat at the Mormon church. First experience with a dum-dum sucker.

Just look at that Elvis lip!

StrollerFit party at the mall.

Jett and Presley.

Going in for a Halloween smooch!

Elvis, Janis and Curt.
I spent so much time on Presley's costume that Jon and I got the last minute ideas.

Party at the Wyatt's!

We dyed her hair for the party at our house. The collar of her costume was completely black but it all came out of her hair.

When Jon's brother came for a visit, Brooke brought Ava and Macy's costumes so all the girls could get dressed up and take pictures.

Minnie, Minnie and Elvis.

Thank you, thank you very much!
