delux picture post

I'll let the pictures and captions speak for themselves...

My overnight trip to the lake with the moms group from our church.

The coveted t ball trophy.

(Since it was the last game of the season, and after 9pm, both teams decided that tie was more than acceptable.)

Ava, Macy and Aubrey come to Little Rock.

Presley finally got to visit the trampoline park.

 Swimming at the neighbors house.

 Watching the lawn guys.

I took the kids to Lake Sylvia. It was their first time to swim in a lake.
Pres liked stirring up the bottom with her feet and Landon was pretty pumped about actually being able to touch the bottom.

Picnicking down by the Arkansas River.

A friend of mine and I at the crowning ceremony of Miss Arkansas.

Miss Arkansas International at the Travelers Baseball game.
Not to be confused with the Miss Arkansas from the previous night.
(I must brush up on my pageants or at least be able to tell two totally different girls apart!)

Jon and Presley made the paper!

Playing at the splash pad downtown.

Waiting for the trolley with the other twins in our life, Charlie and Oliver.

farewell fair park

I probably sound like a broken record (or every other parent) when I say that I can't believe how quickly this year has passed. I can still vividly recall almost everything about the day Jon and I dropped Presley off at Fair Park ECC over 9 months ago. When we were searching for our Pre-K home, folks couldn't say enough good things about Fair Park. I would volunteer to give a testimony to the amazingness of this school but there are probably parents, grandparents, guardians of the other 148 kids waiting for the same opportunity. I feel so blessed that we found this fabulous school. Presley has learned so much, played so hard and is so ready for kindergarten.

cha cha cha

Presley's big dance recital was last Friday night. I was a little worried that she would get a case of stage fright and all the practices, costume and money would be a waste. At the rehearsal on Thursday night she turned it on and all my worries were put to rest. She really got into the whole costume, makeup, backstage stuff, and quite frankly, so did I. I performed 14 dance recitals at Robinson Auditorium so once again I got to experience a case of mother-daughter nostalgia. It's especially special because the auditorium is about to undergo a major renovation and won't look like it did when I stood in the wings all those years ago. We'll see if dance becomes her thing. For now we'll celebrate the end of her first dance season and our little performer.
