We got some snow, rather ice, a few weeks ago. The week started in the mid-50's and by Friday, schools were closed and Little Rock was a solid sheet of ice. We took advantage of our hilly terrain and did some amazing sledding. Landon didn't care much for it, but Presley had a need for speed. Jon was on call and had to get to the hospital on Saturday and Sunday, but the kids and I didn't leave the house for 4 days. By the time Monday rolled around, the schools were still closed and the kids and I were going a little crazy. The temps started to rise and the ice finally started to melt. Normal life resumed on Tuesday as the entire city breathed a sigh of relief that unlike the major winter storm we experienced last year, the power stayed on!
Presley sledding with our neighbor.
Getting a ride to the top.
The signs of lots of fun outdoor time.
